
National Press Day 2023 Held in Medan

PELITA DAILY — Implementation of National Press Day (HPN) in 2023 Medan City is set to host HPN Head of HPN 2023 H Mirza Zulhadi said that the upcoming HPN in Medan will still schedule several programs such as press seminars.
“Later on we will design a press seminar of some sort, ‘call the field’, highlighting what the Indonesian press is like, what will it be good for in the future,” said Mirza Zulhadi after the HPN Panpel meeting at the PWI Central Office, Monday (5/12/2022).
In addition, there will be a sports seminar with material on the upcoming PON where Medan and Aceh will be the hosts. He said, apart from that, like the previous year the HPN would also be held, there would also be a press exhibition.
He said, the Press exhibition was shown by the press from time to time leading to the Metaverse.
“We will try to describe what the metaverse is like, what the virtual world is like. Apart from that, a convention will also be held to discuss the future of the world of journalism and the future of the media. That’s from the speaker’s press council,” said Mirza Zulhadi.
Mirza Zulhadi, also the Secretary General of the Central PWI, explained that apart from seminars and conventions, there will be a Confederation Asean Journalist (CAJ) that will be presented at HPN 2023 in Medan.
“CAJ will be held at HPN 2023 later because the president of CAJ from Indonesia is the Chairperson of the Central PWI Atal S Depari. CAJ will carry out an international dialogue by inviting resource persons from Europe and America.
This event will later be held online and face to face,” added Mirza Zulhadi. ●Red/01
