Coach Shin Tae-yong Continues to Train the Indonesian National Team

PELITA DAILY — The coach from South Korea, Shin Tae-ypng, is no longer coaching after the Indonesian national team failed in the 2022 AFF Cup final.

It turned out that Shin Tae-yong was still given the opportunity to train until the end of his contract with the Indonesian national team.

The coach from South Korea is still the trainer manager for the Indonesian National Team.

Member of the PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) Hasani Abdgulgani, explained that Shin Tae-yong is still safe and will handle the U-20 Indonesian National Team at the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup.

Moreover, the U-20 Indonesian national team faces the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan on March 1-18 2023. The Indonesian national team is joined by hosts Iraq and Syria.

“Shin Tae-ying is still guarding the U-20 Indonesian National Team at the 2023 U-20 Asian Cup,” said Hasani.

Shin Tae-yong promised to raise the achievements of the Indonesian National Team in a number of international matches.

Shin Tae-yong will also improve the mentality of the players to make them stronger. Previously, PSSI through PSSI Technical Director Indra Sjafri evaluated Shin Tae-yong after the Indonesian national team’s progress stopped in the semifinals of the 2022 AFF Cup.
