PELITA DAILY — The French national team or Les Bleus were able to win three goals scored by Oliver Giroud and Mbappe. Mbappe’s two goals saw France qualify for the quarter-finals accompanying the Netherlands.

In the first half, Giroud’s goal gave the French players confidence and their collective spirit skyrocketed to attack the Polish defense.

Giroud is also the all-time leading scorer for the French national team. Olivier Giroud became France’s all-time top scorer after scoring against Poland.

Giroud currently has a total of 52 goals, surpassing Thierry Henry’s previous record of 51 goals.

Three goals for France’s victory were scored by Olivier Giroud in the 44th minute and Kylian Mbappe’s brace in the 74th and 90 + 1 minutes.

One consolation goal for Poland was scored by Robert Lewandowski via a penalty kick in the 90+9 minute.
