PELITA DAILY — Thailand finally won the 2022 AFF Cup positive results defeating Vietnam in the second leg of the final with a score of 1-0 at Thammasat Stadium, Monday (16/1/2023).

Alexandre Polking’s son came out victorious with an aggregate of 3-2 over Vietnam.

Thailand’s winning goal was scored by Theerathon Bunmathan in the 24th minute through a hard kick from outside the penalty box after taking advantage of Adisak Kraisorn’s pass but the Vietnam goalkeeper was unable to secure it.

The Theerathon player after scoring a goal he also celebrated the goal imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s style. This goal is a special goal for Theerathon Bunmathan.

That goal, he said, was his last goal with Thailand after he planned to retire after the 2022 AFF Cup.
