PELITA DAILY —- The Indonesian national team narrowly won with the Cambodian national team in the opener of Group B 2-1 which was held at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Friday (23/12/2022) at 16.00.

Eqy Maulana Vikri’s quick goal in the 7th minute of the first half made Indonesia increase its attack on Cambodia’s defense. However, Cambodia’s goal came in the 15th minute through Kriya’s players on the counterattack.

Cambodia also increased the pressure on Indonesia’s defense. Witan Sulaeman drove from the left to break through the Cambodian defense, Witan fired a hard kick towards the Cambodian goal.

The score changed 2-1 in the 37th minute. But entered the second half no more goals are created. Indonesian attacks always run aground due to Cambodia’s solid defense.
